L.Kozhara meets with leaders of the pro-government and opposition parties
The OSCE Chairman, Foreign Minister of Ukraine, Leonid Kozhara, during his official visit to Baku on July 8, met with representatives of the political parties represented in parliament and opposition leaders.
In particular, the meeting was attended by representatives of the ruling party "Yeni Azerbaijan" and other parliamentary parties, the "Umid", Democratic Reform, Civil Solidarity "Great Creation" and Social Welfare.
The leaders of opposition parties, "Musavat", Popular Front, "Classic" Popular Front, and the People's Party also participated in the meeting.
During the meeting they discussed the pre-election situation in Azerbaijan, creating conditions for the holding democratic elections, the representation of opposition in the election commissions. –06D--

Shamshad Aga, editor of the "Argument.az" website, has been found guilty in the Meydan TV case of smuggling (Article 206.3.2 of the Criminal Code) and sentenced to two months and one day in detention. The decision was made on February 6 by the Khatai District Court of Baku, as reported by Turan, citing his lawyer, Shahla Humbatova.
