Meeting of heads of special services of Turkic countries was held in Kyrgyzstan
Baku/28.07.22/Turan: A regular meeting of the special services of the Turkic states was held in the city of Cholpon-Ata on July 26. It was attended by the head of the special services of Kyrgyzstan, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Turkey and Uzbekistan. The delegations of Russia and Hungary were present as observers.
The meeting discussed issues of cooperation in ensuring security and stability in the Turkic states in the context of the current situation in the zones of terrorist activity in the Middle East and Afghanistan.
The President of Kyrgyzstan met with the heads of the special services of the Turkic states. He noted that the escalation of terrorist activity in the Middle East and Afghanistan today requires special attention. This activity has reached a scale threatening the integrity of some states and threatens to spread far beyond these regions, the press service of the President of Kyrgyzstan said.
The participants agreed to coordinate mechanisms for responding and interacting to localize terrorist threats emanating from Afghanistan and the Syrian zone of armed conflict.
