Mehman Huseynov Appeals Decision of District Commission to CEC
Baku / 20.02.20 / Turan: The District Electoral Commission (DEC) of the 31st Surakhani Second Electoral District rejected the complaint of the deputy candidate, blogger Mehman Huseynov, about rigging during the February 9 parliamentary election.
As Mehman Huseynov told Turan, despite the fact that he submitted to the DEC materials on fraud in 23 of the 32 polling stations, the DEC did not notice any violations.
“And this is despite the fact that video of evidence of fraud was presented from 19 polling stations,” Huseynov said. The OIC considered that "the video was mounted." No evidence of this or an expert report was presented, Huseynov said. The blogger noted that on February 20 he filed a complaint with the CEC against the DEC decision.
Note that according to the CEC, the candidate Etibar Aliyev is the leader in the district. –06B-
