
Azerbaijan Provides Humanitarian Assistance to Antigua and Barbuda
Baku / 20.02.20 / Turan: In response to a call for help from Antigua and Barbuda, the Azerbaijan International Development Assistance Agency (AIDA) provided this country with medicines.
The humanitarian aid was provided by the Ambassador of Azerbaijan to Great Britain, Tahir Taghizadeh, to the High Commissioner of Antigua and Barbuda in London, Karen-Mae Hila.
According to the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan, Karen-Mae Hila thanked for the help and expressed her country's readiness to develop diplomatic relations with Baku.
Antigua and Barbuda is a small island state in the Caribbean Sea, with a population of about 90 thousand people. –06D-

Shamshad Aga, editor of the "Argument.az" website, has been found guilty in the Meydan TV case of smuggling (Article 206.3.2 of the Criminal Code) and sentenced to two months and one day in detention.
