MEP calls for release of Mehman Huseynov
Baku / 14.01.19 / Turan: "We have to follow very closely the case of the Azerbaijani blogger Mehman Huseynov as his lawyers are surprised with the recent appeal on behalf of him. I call for M. Huseynov immediate and unconditional release," wrote in his microblog on Twitter MEP Petras Austrevisius.
On January 17, the European Parliament plans to urgently consider and adopt a resolution on the case of the blogger Mehman Huseynov, convicted in Azerbaijan, who has been on hunger strike since December 26 in protest against the new criminal case against him. -16D-
