Ministry of Defense of Azerbaijan: Enemy Air Assets to Be Neutralized
Baku / 25.09.18 / Turan: Azerbaijani Armed Forces are ready to "neutralize" any air assets of the Armenian side in case of approaching Azerbaijani positions. This is stated by the Ministry of Defense of Azerbaijan in connection with the conduct of exercises by the Armenian Armed Forces in the occupied territories of Azerbaijan with the participation of air force.
"The Armenian military-political leadership resorts to new provocative actions aimed at aggravating the situation on the line of confrontation of troops. The information disseminated by the enemy about the conduct of training flights in the occupied territories of Azerbaijan involving military aviation is a clear proof of this," the Defense Ministry said on Tuesday.
"Any enemy air defense, which will try to approach the advanced positions of the Azerbaijani Army units, will be immediately neutralized."
"The responsibility for possible losses will be borne by the military-political leadership of Armenia," the statement says.
It should be noted that the day before, the Armenian side announced the holding of exercises in the sky over Karabakh involving military helicopters and aircraft. -06D-
