Baku/28.07.20/Turan: The “Musavat” party demands an end to politically motivated arrests and the immediate release of PFPA members and other political prisoners arrested after the July 14-15 rally, stated the message from “Musavat.”
According to the report, the consequences of the July 14-15 rally in support of the National Army in Baku were discussed at the July 28 video conference session of the party.
“The arrest of dozens of demonstrators, including members of the Popular Front Party, is regarded as a continuation of the repression in the country.
The “Musavat” Party believes that these arrests are a gross violation of human rights and contradict the state interests of Azerbaijan.
