Mamed Ibrahim arrested for 4 months
Baku/28.07.20/Turan: On July 28, the court passed a decision to arrest a member of the PFPA presidium, Mamed Ibrahim for four months.
Ibrahim was charged under the Article 186.2.1 (destruction or damage to other people's property), 233 (violation of public order), 315 (police resistance) and 278.1 (an attempt to violently seize power and violently change the constitutional order) of the Criminal Code, PPFA reported.
It is noteworthy that yesterday Ibrahim was accused only under the Articles 233 and 315.
Ibrahim was detained in connection with a rally in support of the army on July 15.
The PFPA says that Ibrahim did not participate in the action.
In connection with the action, about 30 PFPA activists were detained and half of them were charged with criminal charges. –21B-M
