Muslim Board suspended from appointment to positions of religious figures
Baku/24.05.22/Turan: The State Committee for Religious Structures (SCRS) has announced a competition to fill vacant positions in places of worship (mosques) of the Islamic religion.
Applications will be accepted from May 24 to June 24.
To be admitted to the competition, you must submit: certificate of higher or secondary special religious education, certificate of health (including from narcological, psychoneurological dispensaries), absence of a criminal record, etc.
Besides, documents on scientific and scientific-pedagogical activity of applicants can be submitted.
Documents due to the appointment of religious figures in places of worship and pilgrimage will be considered by the commission headed by Deputy Chairman of the SCRS Gunduz Ismailov.
It ought to be noted that previously, the authority to appoint religious figures to positions in the mosques and shrines belonged to the Muslim Board of Caucasus. However, they were transferred to the SCRS as a part of recent changes in the legislation. -06В-

On November 22, during a media tour to the liberated territories, Verdiyev filmed and published information and images on his social media accounts revealing Azerbaijani Armed Forces' combat positions in the heights, deployment sites, coordinates, and operational conditions of the border troops.
