National Council: The regime has lost the confidence of the people
The National Council of Democratic Forces (NCDF) adopted an appeal to the people, urging citizens to be irreconcilable to corruption and human rights violations.
The appeal states that on the eve of the approaching 25th anniversary of Azerbaijan's independence 20% of the country is still under occupation.
"Usurping" power in 1993, the Aliyev regime has done nothing to liberate the land.
Recalling the statements of President Ilham Aliyev, "Azerbaijan is a strong state and a strong army," authors of the appeal asked the rhetorical question: what criteria measured strength of the army and if it is able to ever release its territory.
The address is indicated on the prosperity of corruption in the country and the use of its territory for drug trafficking.
So, the government has not yet clarified the question how 3 tons of heroin was transported through Azerbaijan.
While people live in poverty and distress, the authorities spend huge funds on various international events, trying to improve their "image".
The "unsuitable" control system brought education and health care in the country to the lowest level.
Law enforcement agencies are criminalized and have lost trust of the people.
Depressing is the situation with human rights in the country and now there are 105 political prisoners. At the same time, attacks on civil society continue.
The international community takes a contemplative stance against human rights violations in Azerbaijan.
Azerbaijan lost the essence of the constitutional provision that "the source of power is the people."
According to the conclusions of the OSCE ODIHR observation missions for the presidential elections of 2008, they identified fraud in 23% of the polling stations, while in the parliamentary elections in 2010 there were 32%, and at the presidential elections in 2013 there were 58%.
NCDF regards it as "the loss of confidence of the people by the corrupt regime of Ilham Aliyev."
The current regime is using the independence of the state in order to "plunder the country's wealth freely."
In conclusion NCDF encourages the people to be irreconcilable to negative events and to fight for their elimination. --05D06-
