NATO generals got acquainted with the training of Azerbaijani officers
Baku / 23.05.18 / Turan: On Wednesday the Defense Minister Zakir Hasanov received the head of the NATO Military Partnership Directorate, General Odd Egil Pedersen, and the Chief of Staff of the NATO Ground Forces Command, division general Erhan Uzun.
The Ministry of Defense press service reported that Hasanov noted the special importance of cooperation with NATO. He stressed that Azerbaijani servicemen actively participate in the programs of the Alliance, and in particular in the mission "Strong Support" in Afghanistan.
In turn, the guests noted that Azerbaijan is an important partner for NATO. They highly appreciated the knowledge and skills of Azerbaijani officers serving in the headquarters of the Alliance and participating in its various programs.
The NATO delegation arrived in Azerbaijan to observe the field exercises of the reconnaissance company of the Armed Forces of Azerbaijan. -06D-
