New geopolitical realities have not affected relations between Azerbaijan and the Russian Federation - I. Aliyev
Baku/21.07.23 /Turan: The Declaration on Allied Cooperation signed in February last year opened a new stage in the development of relations between Russia and Azerbaijan, the Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev stated on July 21 at the Shusha Global Media Forum on the topic "New Media in the era of the 4th Industrial Revolution".
At the same time, Aliyev noted that the document was signed in "a completely new period for the world, for our region, including for Russia and Azerbaijan." "But despite this, despite such a serious change in the geopolitical situation, the development of relations between Russia and Azerbaijan has been quite successful since the signing of the Declaration. There were many contacts at the highest level, there were contacts at the level of heads of government, heads of foreign ministries and other representatives of governments and public structures. Therefore, I can say with confidence that the points of the Declaration are being fulfilled," the President of Azerbaijan stressed.
At the same time, as Aliyev noted, "those small roughnesses that we see both in the Russian media in relation to Azerbaijan and in the Azerbaijani media in relation to Russia, they have no influence on the policy of the two countries." ---06B---
