Israeli Minister for Tourism Yariv Levin
Novruz Mammadov refutes investment by Aliyev in Israel for 600 million.
Baku /31.08.17/Turan: At a press conference in Tel Aviv, Israeli Tourism Minister Yariv Levin said that several months ago, the spouse and son of the Azerbaijani president bought a villa in Haifa for $6 million, the Israeli newspaper Haaretz reported.
According to the correspondent of the newspaper, members of the family of the President of Azerbaijan invested $ 600 million of personal funds in the Israeli stock exchange.
Several months ago Heydar Aliyev, the son of the president of Azerbaijan, was in a villa in Haifa under the supervision of Israeli doctors and "completely recovered from his serious illness," the newspaper claims.
In addition, the wife of the President of Azerbaijan has invested a considerable amount of money in Israel in the last five years and closely cooperates with Israeli charitable foundations, the newspaper writes.
Novruz Mammadov, the assistant to President Aliyev, commenting on the message called it a "slander". According to him, the son of the country's president has never been to Israel.
"Such publications have nothing to do with reality," Mammadov said, expressed the conviction that the Minister of Tourism of Israel, whose name is mentioned in the article, should come out with a refutation.
Mammadov did not refute the purchase of a villa in Haifa, as the Minister of Tourism of Israel said. -02D-
