One of Putin's propagandists blown up in Nizhny Novgorod
Writer Zakhar Prilepin suffered fractures and concussion in a car bombing
Writer and "Just Russia" Party member Zakhar Prilepin suffered fractures and concussion in a car bomb blast near Nizhny Novgorod. This was reported by the "Telegram channel RIA Novosti".
According to the agency, citing a source in the law enforcement agencies, the man at the scene was put on splints and a bandage on his broken leg. Prilepin was transported by helicopter to the Semashko regional clinical hospital in Nizhny Novgorod. This reported that the writer is conscious and has himself communicated with the ambulance staff.
Earlier it was reported that in the car, in addition to Prilepin, there was his daughter. The girl was not injured - she managed to get out of the car, unloading the things. However, the driver and the writer's personal security guard were killed as a result of the explosion. According to "Telegram channel Mash", law enforcement authorities have initiated a criminal case over the car bombing.
A terrorist organization from Ukraine, "Atesh", has claimed responsibility for the explosion. This is reported that the group had long been "hunting" for the writer: members of the organization wanted to eliminate him since the beginning of the year.
In January, it became known that Zakhar Prilepin volunteered for a special operation. He signed an agreement with the Rosgvardiya, as he had previously served in the "OMON" (special purpose police unit), from 1994 to 1999. As part of the OMON, he allegedly participated twice in the first and second Chechen campaigns.
Recall that the writer's first book, "Pathologies", is dedicated to these conflicts. Zakhar Prilepin holds the rank of major in the DNR Armed Forces. Besides, from 2017 to 2018, he served as deputy commander of the special forces battalion for personnel work. -0-
