Opinion poll in Armenia and Karabakh on the conflict
Baku / 27.01.18 / Turan: In case of unacceptable resolution on the Karabakh issue, 8.6% of Armenian citizens are ready to take part in demonstrations accompanied by clashes, reads the report "Perception of the conflict in the Armenian and NKR societies", published by the expert-analytical center of the Caucasus Institute in December 2017. According to the report, 38.7% of those polled in the event of an unacceptable resolution of the conflict will not express their opinion and take action, 23.4% will take part in peaceful demonstrations, 16.2% will protest in social networks and among friends, 6.2% participation in the collection of signatures, 7% do not know what they will do, writes Panarmenian.
In 2015, 63.7% of Karabakh residents wanted to join Armenia, after the April 2016 war - 50%. More than 60% of Karabakh residents at the age of 18-30 want independence. At the same time, more than 50% of Armenian citizens aged 18-30 want to see Karabakh as part of Armenia.
0.3% of Armenia believe that Karabakh should become an autonomy in Azerbaijan. In Karabakh, 0.1% are for autonomy in Azerbaijan. At the same time, 0.6% of Armenian citizens agree with the annexation of Karabakh to Azerbaijan, 1.4% - with the surrender of 7 districts, 6.2% - with the surrender of 5 districts and 86.4% do not agree with the concession of the territories.
