Opposition Has Not Yet Decided on Participation in National Council’s Rally on November 2
Baku / 28.10.19 / Turan: The Musavat party is discussing the possible participation in the protest rally of the National Council of Democratic Forces on November 2. This was reported to Turan by the head of the party Arif Hajili. “When the discussions are over, we will make a statement,” he said.
The leader of the REAL party, Ilgar Mammadov, in turn, said that members of his party will not participate in the action.
“We support the right of every political force to hold peaceful actions, but we will not participate in the action on November 2,” he said.
The leader of the Classical Popular Front Party, Mirmahmud Miralioglu, also said that discussions are being held in his party regarding possible participation in the upcoming rally, but a decision has not yet been made.
Recall that the National Council of Democratic and Popular Front parties announced the continuation of the protests launched on October 19. The next meeting is scheduled for November 2.

Armenia is not against the dissolution of the OSCE Minsk Group, but does not consider it appropriate to discuss this issue now. "In the context of peace, we consider it possible to make a decision on the dissolution of the OSCE Minsk Group. When peace is an established fact, the existence of such a format may raise questions," Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said at a press conference today. On August 31, Azerbaijan observes a "day of silence" before the Sunday’s early parliamentary elections for the unicameral Milli Majlis. All electoral campaigning is prohibited 24 hours before the voting. The early elections were initiated by the ruling Yeni Azerbaijan Party. On August 30, at approximately 22:55, the Armenian Nuclear Power Plant in Metsamor was disconnected from the country's power grid, as reported by the Armenian Ministry of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure. The shutdown was caused by a lightning strike, which triggered the plant's safety systems to switch the station to a safe shutdown mode. Currently, the plant's staff is working on restarting the facility.
