Pashinyan announced coordination of 3 principles for settlement of Armenian-Azerbaijani conflict
Baku/30.10.23/Turan: 3 basic principles have been agreed that can contribute to the establishment of peace and the settlement of relations with Azerbaijan. Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan stated this in the Armenian Parliament on October 30.
According to him, if the parties comply with these principles, the signing of a peace treaty will become real. "The first principle is that Armenia and Azerbaijan should recognize each other's territorial integrity, accepting that the territory of Armenia is 29,800 square kilometers, and Azerbaijan is 86,600 square kilometers," Pashinyan said.
The second principle is that the Alma-Ata Declaration should become the political basis for the delimitation and further demarcation of the state borders.
The third principle is the opening of all regional communications. This should take place on the principles of mutual respect for sovereignty, jurisdiction and legislation.
"Our plans include signing an agreement on establishing peace and normal relations with Azerbaijan and settling relations with Turkey. We understand that it will not be easy, but the promotion of such a program is in the state interests of Armenia," Pashinyan said. -02D-
