Personnel changes in countries will not change much - Ali Karimli
Baku /23.10.19 / Turan: The departure of Ramiz Mehdiyev will not have a noticeable impact on the situation in the country. Recent personnel changes and statements on reforms are cosmetic in nature and are designed for an internal audience. The leader of the Popular Front Party Ali Karimli said this in an interview with Radio Azadlig.
He explained his opinion by the fact that Ilham Aliyev determines the strategy, and all other officials only follow his instructions.
He agrees with the view that the Aliyev-Pashayevs clan is strengthening.
"In fact, the talk is about the redistribution of property and control over cash flows. Clans are fighting for this, not real reform.
Corruption, monopolies, unfair courts will not disappear, because the authorities have no political will to change this. The reason is that the biggest monopolists and corrupt officials are the first persons of the country," he said. -02B-
