President Ilham Aliyev�s trip to Sumgayit
Baku / 16.11.18 / Turan: President Ilham Aliyev made a trip to Sumgayit to participate in the opening of a number of industrial facilities. In particular, he opened a chemicals plant in an industrial park.
According to the general director of the company Adam Yayla, the plant, registered as a resident in March 2016, was created on the basis of Swiss and Turkish technologies.
At the first stage, the annual production at the enterprises will be 40 thousand tons of building materials. It is planned to export the plant"s products to Russia, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Georgia and Iran. Within the framework of the project, the investment cost of $ 3.5 million will be provided with permanent work for 60 people. Then the head of state took part in the opening ceremony of the non-ferrous metal and ferroalloy plant LLC Baku Non Ferrous and Foundry Company, which is a resident of the Sumgayit chemical industrial park.
This plant will produce products for the engineering, agriculture, mining industries.
50 thousand tons of ferrosilicon and 72 thousand tons of ferrosilicon manganese will be produced here. The plant, an investment cost of 51 million dollars will provide job for 230 people.
Then Aliyev attended the opening of Tabaterra, a tobacco manufacturing factory.
The factory, built on the basis of technology from the UK, Germany and Italy, will produce 11 billion filter cigarettes during the year, which will cover 80% of the country's needs for tobacco products.
In conclusion, Ilham Aliyev attended the opening of the city"s railway station complex. After that, Aliyev returned to Baku by a passenger train Sumgayit-Baku.
Arriving at Baku railway station, President Ilham Aliyev examined the new passenger trains, locomotives and various railway equipment acquired in 2016. In particular, he was shown a two-system passenger locomotive "Alstom Transport". -06D--
