Putin Doesn't Need to Talk to Aliyev, Erdogan - Peskov
Baku / 06.10.20 / Turan: Russian President Vladimir Putin did not speak with Aliyev and Erdogan, but there is no shortage of contacts at another level. This was stated by the press secretary of the Russian President, Dmitry Peskov.
"This does not mean at all that the Russian side is experiencing some kind of deficit in working contacts," Peskov told reporters on Monday.
Answering the question of why Putin spoke with Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan three times since the beginning of the conflict in Karabakh, but never with the Presidents of Turkey and Azerbaijan Tayyip Erdogan and Ilham Aliyev, he said: "It depends on the working schedules of the Presidents and on expediency," Peskov is quoted by RIA Novosti.
According to Peskov, Foreign Minister Lavrov is in constant contact with his counterparts from Azerbaijan and Turkey.
He added that the Russian-Turkish and Russian-Azerbaijani dialogue, in fact, like the Russian-Armenian dialogue on the Karabakh conflict, is being carried out at a high level and on an ongoing basis. -02D-
