Representatives of Ombudsman visited Armenian serviceman
Baku/25.08.23/Turan: On August 24, members of the National Preventive Group (NPG) under the Ombudsman of Azerbaijan visited Gagig Voskanyan, an Armenian military.
It may be reminded that he was detained on August 16 on the territory of Kalbajar region as a member of the reconnaissance and sabotage group of the Armenian armed forces.
According to the report of the Ombudsman's office, the members of the NPC got acquainted with the conditions of Voskanyan's detention, treatment, access to medical care, and legal rights.
The report says that Voskanyan did not complain about conditions of detention, he was satisfied with medical care. He was informed of his rights and supplied with international human rights instruments in his native language. -06B-
