Restaurants and Cafes Ordered Not to Feed Musavat Members - Arif Hajili
Baku / 27.01.20 / Turan: The Musavat party announced the obstacles of the authorities for the pre-election meetings of candidates for deputies. This was stated by party leader Arif Hajili, commenting on his trips to Sumgayit, Bilasuvar and Jalilabad last week.
“Although the authorities speak of reforms, they don’t give up old habits. Everywhere we were watched, and those who came to meetings were prevented. In the Jalilabad and Bilasuvar districts, all the cafes were closed, the ready meals suddenly disappeared, and the cooks got sick.
To prohibit serving party leaders, candidates for deputies, and other citizens is ignorance and a manifestation of feudal thinking,” Hajili said.
Despite all this, the leaders of Musavat and candidates for deputy managed to hold meetings with voters and to listen to their problems and suggestions.
“We continue to fight even in the most restrictive conditions. The winners are those who fight to the end," the Musavat press service quotes Hajili. -06D-
