Rotations of Azerbaijani ambassadors abroad
Baku/17.10.22/Turan: On Monday, the head of state issued orders on personnel changes in a number of Azerbaijani embassies abroad.
Thus, Anar Rzayev was recalled from the post of ambassador to Egypt and appointed head of the diplomatic mission in Algeria.
Elhan Polukhov, who was previously Ambassador to Brazil, has been appointed Ambassador to Egypt.
Mahir Aliyev has been recalled from the post of Ambassador to the UAE. Instead of him, Elchin Bagirov was appointed, who was the head of the protocol service of the president of the country.
Leyla Abdullayeva, who previously was the official representative of the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry, has been appointed Ambassador to France.
The former ambassador to France, Rahman Mustafayev, became the ambassador to the Netherlands. Former Ambassador Fikret Akhundov has been recalled from his post.
Ilgar Mukhtarov has been appointed Ambassador to the Vatican. -06B-
