Ruslan Amirov Arrested (UPDATED)
Baku / 09.04.20 / Turan: By the decision of the Narimanov district court, Ruslan Amirov was arrested in administrative order for 30 days. He is found guilty under Art. 211 (violation of the quarantine regime) of the Code of Administrative Offenses, the PFPA reported.

PFPA Activist Ruslan Amirov Detained
Baku / 09.04.20 / Turan: Today an activist of the Popular Front Party of Azerbaijan (PFPA) Ruslan Amirov was detained.
According to the PFPA (Turan), he was detained at a medical institution where he had brought his child for examination.
The child was given to a relative, and Amirov was taken to the police.
Note that Amirov is a volunteer bodyguard of the Popular Front Party leader Ali Karimli during public events.
PFPA connects Amirov’s detention with his political activities.
Recall that today, the Assistant to Karimli, Faig Amirli was also sentenced to 30 days of administrative arrest. —06D-

According to a report by Turan correspondent, the discussions took place behind closed doors and lasted for over an hour. No statements were made to the press following the meeting.
