Russia and France supply arms to Armenia – Erdogan
Ankara / 14.10.20 / Turan: Turkey does not hide its readiness to provide all possible assistance to Azerbaijan, but why does no one ask the question of support for Armenia from the states that are members of the OSCE Minsk Group? Yerevan receives arms from Russia and France, but for some reason no one discusses this topic. This was stated by Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan on Wednesday in Ankara.
In his words, the OSCE Minsk Group co-chair countries are again trying to delay the settlement of the Armenian-Azerbaijani conflict.
“Unsuccessful negotiations have been going on for 30 years. The patience of the people of Azerbaijan is overflowing. Today the Azerbaijani people are actively fighting for the de-occupation of historical lands. It is senseless to expect justice from those who for 30 years ignored the lawlessness in the lands of Azerbaijan, ”Erdogan said.
In his words, Turkey has nothing against the Armenian people. Today, up to 100 thousand Armenian citizens are in Turkey, the Turkish leader stated.
The Turkish president denied allegations of the participation of fighters of the moderate Syrian opposition in the battles in Nagorno-Karabakh. “Ankara does not and did not have such plans. We are ready to render all possible assistance to fraternal Azerbaijan. As for the Syrian fighters, they have a lot of work on their lands too. They do not need to go to the South Caucasus,” Erdogan said. -02D-
