Russian Defence Ministry reported capture of Kherson
Baku/02.03.22/Turan: Russian armed forces have taken full control over the regional centre of Kherson. This was reported by the Russian Ministry of Defence.
Civilian infrastructure, life support facilities and city transport in Kherson are operating in a daily regime, the military said. "The Russian armed forces carried out a high-precision weapons strike on the facilities of the SBU and the 72nd main centre for psychological operations," the statement further said.
A total of 1,502 Ukrainian military infrastructure facilities were taken out of action during the military operation, the Russian Defence Ministry said.
At the same time, according to Ukrainian sources, Russian troops failed to advance last night towards the regional centres of Chernigov and Sumy in the north of the country.
Despite the bombing of Kharkov and the country's capital Kiev, the Russian army made no progress in these areas either. -06В-
