Sheikh Pashazade proposed to involve the Interreligious Council to resolve the conflict between Russia and Ukraine
Baku/15.02.22/Turan: On February 15, the head of the Caucasian Muslims Office (CMO), Sheikh Allahshukur Pashazade, received Russian Ambassador to Azerbaijan Mikhail Bocharnikov.
The sheikh expressed concern over the growing tension between Russia and Ukraine. According to Pashazade, he prays that all problems between the two fraternal peoples be resolved, the message on the CMO website .
Pashazade proposed to hold an international inter-religious forum with the participation of the Patriarch of All Russia Kiril, leaders of the Ukrainian Church in order to find common ground and resolve all problems between peoples. For his part, Pashazade expressed his readiness to participate in this process as a co-chairman of the Interreligious Council.
