S.Lavrov: The West wants to oust Russia from the Baku-Yerevan negotiation process
Baku/01.12.22/Turan: Western countries destroyed the OSCE Minsk Group, and now they are trying to intervene in the mediation efforts of the Russian Federation to improve relations between Armenia and Azerbaijan, stated the Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov during a video conference on Thursday, December 1.
According to Lavrov, Russia is helping Armenia and Azerbaijan in the issue of border delimitation and will assist in agreeing on a peace treaty. “In parallel, we observed convulsive attempts by other players to intervene in these processes,” he noted and added that after the start of the war in Ukraine, the West, represented by Paris and Washington, officially announced that it would not cooperate with Russia on any issues. “Thus, they announced the end of the activities of the OSCE Minsk Group,” Lavrov said.
Now the French, the Americans, and the European Union are trying to "privatize the agreements reached by the parties with Russian participation."
"For example, they are holding a meeting of the commission on delimitation in Brussels. Well, both Armenians and Azerbaijanis are polite people, they go there. It is difficult to imagine how you can discuss delimitation without having a map of the former Soviet republics that exist only in the Russian General Staff," the minister added. ---02D---

The crash of our plane in Aktau raises several questions that demand answers: 1. Many of the victims of this tragedy were people who previously traveled to the North Caucasus by train or car. These victims might not have existed if Azerbaijan hadn’t kept its land borders closed for several years.
