State Agency for Geodesy and Cartography Created
Yesterday Ilham Aliyev signed a decree on the formation of the State Agency for Geodesy and Cartography, which is created under the Ministry of Environment.
The Agency is transferred the State Aerial Geodesy Enterprise and the Baku Cartographic Factory, which formerly were parts of the defunct State Committee for Land and Cartography.
The State Agency for Geodesy and Cartography will have 45 employees.
The Cabinet of Ministers has been instructed to solve issues relating to the activities of the Agency.
The Head of State also approved the Regulations on the State Agency for Geodesy and Cartography. -06D-
