Sweden will allocate 500 million sheuros to countries of Eastern Partnership
Baku/04.10.13/Turan : The Swedish government plans to end the year with allotting 500 million sheuros to countries - participants of the " Eastern Partnership ". The minister of Foreign Affairs of Sweden Carl Bildt wrote in his article published in the newspaper "The Day" .
"Within the EU , and in the provision of bilateral assistance Sweden is determined to support the integration of Eastern Europe. Until the end of this year, the Swedish government is planning to adopt a new seven-year strategy for cooperation with the countries of the Eastern Partnership, disbursing 500 million sheuros. This is an application to the discussion at the present time a large-scale program to support countries in the region for the period 2014-2020 years , which the EU hopes to provide," said Bildt .
Bildt also noted that " in many areas , despite the different problems, the Eastern Partnership has reached more than we could have expected in the first years of its existence. By the summit in Vilnius, we hope to complete negotiations on the Association Agreement , including the provision of a deep and comprehensive free trade area with Georgia , Moldova and Ukraine , and to continue the negotiations with Azerbaijan. In principle , one could conclude negotiations with Armenia, but now there are serious doubts about this . "
By Bildt , the EU "needs to start thinking about the next steps for the reunited Europe, which could include an" economic zone of Eastern Partnership. Either way , the EU will not give up the desire of motion in the direction of Eastern Partnership, while at least one of the countries of Eastern Partnership has such a desire . "

Moscow makes no secret of its plans to prevent the signing of the Association of the Eastern Partnership and the European Union .
