Baku/11.10.21/Turan: The Tehran regime continues to make contradictory statements, either threatening or expressing friendship with Azerbaijan, said the press secretary of the Foreign Ministry Said Khatibzade at a briefing in Tehran on Monday.
Being asked about the future of relations between Iran and Azerbaijan, he said: "These relations are normal, and their destruction is unacceptable."
According to him, relations between the two countries "follow the correct logic." Within the framework of good neighborliness and good relations, Iran's concern was expressed. “In a number of moments, the expectations that we placed on Azerbaijan were not justified. We told the Azerbaijani side that it is necessary to calmly remove some of Iran's concerns,” he said.
At the same time, he denied reports that Iran has closed the airspace for Azerbaijan. “We have never closed our airspace for Azerbaijan, and the land border is open and exchanges are taking place, both sides should not allow third parties to influence our relations,” Khatibzade said. -02D-
