The attempts of Armenians to commit a terrorist attack with the help of a kamikaze dog failed
Baku/11.09.23/Turan: At 8:30 on September 11, Armenian formations in Karabakh attempted to commit a terrorist attack against Azerbaijani servicemen using a kamikaze dog. According to the Ministry of Defense, this took place in the Khojavend district.
So, a remotely controlled explosive device was attached to the dog's neck and it was directed towards the Azerbaijani positions. Thanks to the vigilance of our servicemen, the attempted terrorist attack was prevented.
"We strongly condemn this provocation as an act contrary to the Protocol on the Prohibition or Restriction of the Use of Mines, Booby Traps and Other Devices of the Convention on the Prohibition and Restriction of the Use of Certain Conventional Weapons. The use of animals for the purposes of a terrorist attack is an immoral act," the report says. ---0---

In Azerbaijan, the heads of several websites have been arrested on suspicion of extorting money from entrepreneurs, the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA) reported. Complaints were filed with the MIA's Main Department for Combating Organized Crime regarding the actions of the website owners: Seymur Mammadov of Aztvnews.az, Zaur Ahmedov of Qaynar-xett.az, Eldaniz Mejdanov of Postbaku.net, and Elvin Gurbanov of Aja.az. The investigation revealed that they were operating as an organized group, extorting money by threatening to publish defamatory information about the entrepreneurs.

The "Pressure on Civil Society and Independent Media in Azerbaijan" will be discussed at a meeting of the European Parliament's Subcommittee on Human Rights on December 5. In a resolution adopted on October 24, the European Parliament condemned the crackdown on activists, journalists, and opposition leaders, which has notably intensified in Azerbaijan over the past year.
