The contours of the NKAO disappeared from the map of the Russian Defense Ministry
Baku/27.09.21/Turan: Since September 26, the contour of the Nagorno-Karabakh Autonomous Region (NKAO), which was abolished on November 26, 1991, as part of Azerbaijan, has been removed from the map of Azerbaijan posted on the official website of the Russian Ministry of Defense, where the zone of deployment of Russian peacekeepers in Karabakh is indicated. The last time the outline of the former NKAO could be seen on the map of the deployment of peacekeepers from September 20, 2021.
On July 10, 2021, President Ilham Aliyev said: "Nagorno-Karabakh is a wrong name for the region. There is no such territorial unit, and it is impossible to use such a name." The Head of State called on international organizations and countries not to use the term " Nagorno-Karabakh.
It should be noted that the day before, on the instructions of Russian peacekeepers, the flag of the illegal regime was removed from the roof of the Albanian temple in Amaras, Khojavend district of Azerbaijan.—0—

The European Court of Human Rights (ECHR) today issued five rulings on applications from Azerbaijan. The case of "Afgan Mammadov v. Azerbaijan" concerned the complainant's exclusion from the Bar Association. Mammadov was expelled based on a complaint filed by a colleague, which he considered unjust. The ECHR ruled that Mammadov's rights had been violated and ordered Azerbaijan to pay him €5,000 in compensation for moral damage and €1,000 to cover legal costs.

During the ongoing COP29 climate conference in Baku on November 14, a group of activists staged a protest condemning Russia's aggression against Ukraine. The activists also denounced countries that supply oil and weapons to nations waging aggressive wars. The protest featured placards with slogans such as: "From fossil fuels to peace!", "End war crimes!", "Punish the aggressor!", and "Phase out fossil fuel use to achieve peace!" among others.
