The Disciplinary Commission of the Parliament will consider the "case of Vahid Ahmedov"
Baku/25.04.23/Turan: The Disciplinary Commission of the Milli Majlis will consider the issue of deputy Vahid Ahmedov because of his interview with journalist Mehman Huseynov; the decision was made on April 25 at the plenary session. The deputies obstructed their colleague due to the fact that he stated in the above interview that some deputies were engaged in business in violation of the law, criticized the government's activities.
This caused discontent among parliamentarians, who today attacked Ahmedov with angry speeches. They pointed out the "wrongness" of Ahmedov giving an interview to Huseynov. Ahmedov was unavailable for comment.
However, at today's meeting of the parliament, the deputy declared his readiness to answer "all questions". --06B---
