The "Council of National Statehood of South Azerbaijan" is being created
Baku/25.04.23/Turan: A group of public and political figures from Southern (Iranian) Azerbaijan decided to establish an organization to recreate the National Government of Azerbaijan, declared by Azerbaijanis living in Iran in 1945-1946.
On April 30, an online meeting of the newly created "Council of National Statehood of South Azerbaijan" will be held, the statement of the initiative group of the new structure. The coordinator of the group is Cenghis Goyturk.
The initiative group also included Saleh Ildyrim (head of the Independence Party of South Azerbaijan), Ahmed Obaly (founder of the satellite TV channel "Gunaz"), Ajdar Tagizade (head of the Democratic Turkic Party of South Azerbaijan), Sadig Isabeyli (member of the board of the National Liberation Front of South Azerbaijan), etc.
The headquarters of the organization will be located in Finland. The organization aims to create an independent state of South Azerbaijan. --03B06--

Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan published a set of proposals on his Facebook page aimed at establishing long-term peace in the region. Among them, he suggested that Azerbaijan should abandon mutual claims against Armenia, including in international courts. Other proposals include: refraining from using belligerent rhetoric, continuing the demarcation of borders, signing a peace agreement that is 90% ready, mutually implementing arms control, creating a joint mechanism to investigate violations of the ceasefire regime, and dissolving the OSCE Minsk Group.
