The Food Safety Agency has recognized the Iranian dried apricots as unfit for consumptionok
Baku/14.06.23/Turan: The Food Safety Agency of Azerbaijan did not allow a batch of dried apricots weighing 1060 kg imported from Iran by "Sodaz" LLC to enter the country.
The reason for this was the detection by the laboratory of the Institute of Food Safety in samples of dried apricots delivered by the specified company, sulfur dioxide in an amount exceeding the norm, the agency said in a statement.
A decision was made to destroy non-consumable products outside the customs territory.
A temporary ban on the import of dried apricots of "Sodaz" products has been introduced. The relevant Iranian authorities have been notified of this. ---06B---
