The new U.S. Ambassador presented his credentials to the ministry of Foreign affairs
Baku/15.12.23/Turan: On December 15, the new U.S. Ambassador to Azerbaijan Mark Libby presented his credentials to the Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov.
According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, during the meeting the issues of bilateral cooperation, the situation in the region, and the prospects for normalization of relations between Azerbaijan and Armenia were discussed.
“The importance of cooperation between Azerbaijan and the United States in a number of areas and the development of relations within the framework of mutual interests was noted in the message”.
Bayramov stressed that Azerbaijan, as the initiator of the main elements of the peace process with Armenia, is interested in establishing peace and stability in the region.
The sides also exchanged views on other bilateral and regional issues of mutual interest, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs press release reads. -0-

According to lawyer Zibeida Sadigova, Ibrahim was taken to court in handcuffs. There were guards sitting next to him throughout the whole process.
