The number of parties registered in the Ministry of Justice has reached 14
Baku/08.09.23/Turan: On September 8, the Ministry of Justice announced the registration of two more political parties - "Vahdat" (Unity), chairman of the Parliament deputy Tahir Kerimli) and "Azad Veten" (Free Homeland), Akif Nagi.
Earlier, the Ministry of Justice re-registered: "Yeni Azerbaijan" (Chairman of the President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev); "White Party" (Tural Abbasly); "Civil Solidarity" (MP Sabir Rustamkhanli); "National Revival Movement" (Faraj Guliyev); "National Front" (MP Razi Nurullayev); "Ana Weten" (Fazail Agamaly), "Rights and Justice" (Ali Insanov); "National Independence" (Arzukhan Alizade), "Umid" (Igbad Aghazade), Democratic Party (Sardar Jalaloglu), "Great Azerbaijan" (Chairman Elshad Musayev) and "People's Party" (Panah Huseyn). Thus, out of 27 parties that applied to the Ministry of Justice, 14 were re-registered.
At the same time, the leading opposition organizations – the Popular Front Party, "Musavat" and "Republican Alternative" have not been registered yet.
The re-registration of parties is a requirement of the new law on political parties, which came into force in January this year. According to its terms, a party can have state registration, which will submit to the Ministry of Justice the registration data of at least 5 thousand of its members.
The law has attracted criticism from the opposition. The Venice Commission in its conclusion pointed out the inconsistency of the law with the standards of the Council of Europe and recommended that the document be reworked. However, the Azerbaijani authorities ignored these demands. ---03B06---

The United States and the European Union, which tried to position themselves as mediators in the Armenia-Azerbaijan conflict, have come up with nothing and merely copied Russia's ideas, distorting their essence in order to "hijack" the peace process for themselves. However, their true goal was to take control of the region, to insert themselves into it, and to push out Russia, as well as Iran and Türkiye, Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova stated at a briefing on November 13.
