Bakı/14.09.23/Turan: President Ilham Aliyev of Azerbaijan has extended congratulations to the Jewish community of Azerbaijan on the auspicious occasion of Rosh ha-Shana, the Jewish New Year.
In his message of felicitation, President Aliyev hailed Azerbaijan as a shining example of cultural coexistence, emphasizing the exemplary spirit of friendship and fraternal bonds that thrive among individuals from diverse backgrounds and religions within the country.
"The Jewish community, which has established deep roots in our nation over centuries and regards Azerbaijan as its true homeland, has flourished within our ethnoculturally diverse landscape. It has never been subjected to anti-Semitism or discrimination, instead seamlessly integrating into our society as equal and cherished members," the President stated.
