The Russian Foreign Ministry condemned the statement of the deputy, who called for a strike on the oil infrastructure of Azerbaijan
Baku/29.03.22/Turan: State Duma deputy Mikhail Delyagin's statements regarding Azerbaijan are absolutely unacceptable and irresponsible, stated on Tuesday at a briefing the representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry Maria Zakharova.
“We consider any such statements absolutely unacceptable and irresponsible. They in no way reflect the official position of our country, the Russian leadership, which is aimed at building allied interaction and strategic partnership with Baku. We are sure that the leadership of the State Duma of our country will also give an appropriate assessment to such provocative statements,” she said.
The day before, Delyagin, on the air of the state television of Russia, called for a strike on the oil infrastructure of Azerbaijan. At the same time, he called Azerbaijan a "satellite" of America and a "proxy state". -02D-
