The separatists have come to terms with simultaneous deliveries along the roads through Lachin and Agdam
Baku/17.09.23/Turan: Karabakh separatists “decided to accept the joint proposal” of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) and the command of the Russian peacekeeping contingent for the simultaneous transportation of “humanitarian cargo” by ICRC vehicles through Lachin and the Agdam-Khankendi road. This was reported by the so-called “information headquarters” of the separatist regime.
According to the same source, “mediators are working to organize a meeting” between representatives of the Karabakh Armenians and the Azerbaijani authorities “with the aim of easing the tense humanitarian and security situation.”
It should be noted that the proposal for the simultaneous use of roads through Lachin and Agdam-Khankendi was put forward by the Azerbaijani authorities a month ago. However, Armenia and the separatists have so far stubbornly rejected this proposal, trying to appeal to external players.
Baku has also offered the Karabakh Armenians a meeting on the territory of Azerbaijan at least 3 times over the past month and a half. However, this proposal was categorically rejected. Having failed to achieve international pressure on Baku, the Armenians are now forced to accept Azerbaijan’s proposals.–06c-
