The US Ambassador is handed a note
The US ambassador to Baku Robert Cekuta was invited on Tuesday to the Foreign Ministry of Azerbaijan, where he was handed a note of protest. According to the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the note expresses protest with participation on December 9 in the US Congress, the US co-chair of OSCE Minsk Group James Warlick in an event organized by the Armenian lobby, and his meeting with Karen Mirzoyan, so-called foreign minister of Karabakh. "Such actions are completely contrary to the mandate of the Minsk Group, and cast a shadow on its neutrality and impartiality," said the note.
In addition, Foreign Minister drew the attention of the State Department to the inadmissibility of such events, which make the negotiation process more complicated. James Warlick in his Twitter account wrote that we should communicate with all parties to the conflict, to know their opinion. -02D-
