The fire that broke out on December 4 has swept 5-6 wells. One of them has been put out, a source in SOCAR said.

To extinguish this type of fire, special underwater technology is used to cool the well and reduce the reservoir pressure. A source at SOCAR said that because of the special equipment they will be able to localize the fire in the coming days.
Recall that the experts from Boots and Coots helped in putting out the fire at the sea gas field Bulla Deniz that lasted more than 9 weeks.
