The Zangezur corridor is beneficial to everyone – Erdogan.Ill-wishers should take into account the Azerbaijani-Turkish unity - Aliyev
Baku / 10.20.22 / Turan: Azerbaijani-Turkish unity is a factor of peace and stability in the region. This was stated by Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev on Thursday at a joint briefing with his Turkish counterpart Recep Tayyip Erdogan in the city of Jebrail, liberated from Armenian occupation in 2020.
Recalling the political support of Turkey to Azerbaijan during the second Karabakh war, he stressed that this unity is also manifested today in the restoration of the liberated territories.
“Azerbaijani-Turkish unity is a factor of peace and stability in the region. But if someone again tries to take an unfair position towards us, this factor will have to be taken into account,” - Aliyev said.
Erdogan, in turn, drew attention to the fact that this meeting is taking place in the city of Jabrayil, which is in ruins.
The OSCE, the EU and other international organizations did not deign to come and look at these ruins, because it is not profitable for them. "The world must know the true face of the West," Erdogan said.
Erdogan also pointed to the groundlessness of the concerns of some circles about the Zangezur corridor project. “In fact, this is a road that can be used by all countries along the West-East corridor.”
Erdogna also indicated that Azerbaijan is taking sincere and positive steps to establish peace with Armenia. The process of normalization of Azerbaijan-Armenia and Turkey-Armenia relations are moving forward mutually supporting each other, Erdogan stressed.—06B-
