Violations of the law are taking place in the today's municipal elections. This was stated by Jamilya Alisheva, a candidate for the Nasimi municipal council and activist.
She circulated on her Facebook account videos from webcams at polling stations showing the same people voting at polling stations 12 and 13, 28 and 29 of the 23rd Nasimi-Sabail constituency, located next to each other.
At polling station 14, ballot papers were recorded being thrown in bales into the ballot box.
In its turn, the district election commission denied 'Turan' these allegations.

The trial of disabled activist Famil Khalilov, who is paralyzed and has a first-degree disability, continued today in the Baku Serious Crimes Court. At the beginning of the trial, it was announced that the witness in this case would be unable to attend the hearing, so the trial was postponed to February 6. On Thursday, the trial of former deputy and entrepreneur Huseyn Abdullayev continued at the Baku Serious Crimes Court, chaired by Azer Tagiev. On January 30, it was announced that the judicial investigation had been updated due to Abdullayev's appeals to President Ilham Aliyev and the country's Prosecutor General. However, the appeals did not help, and the prosecutor reiterated the indictment, once again requesting a 10-year prison sentence for Abdullayev.
