Baku/02.06.22/Turan: Turkey has agreed to give Ukraine the TB2 combat drone, the money for which (6 million euros) was collected by the citizens of Lithuania.  Lithuanian Defense Minister Arvydas Anušauskas wrote about it on his Twitter page.

"We will purchase necessary weapons for the drone and provide humanitarian aid to Ukraine with the money raised. Thank you, Turkey!", Anušauskas wrote.

In turn, the website of "Baykar", the company that produces these drones, also says that Lithuanian residents raised money to buy "Bayraktar TB2" for Ukraine.

"Having learned this, Baykar decided to donate the drone to Lithuania for free and ask that the funds be given as humanitarian aid to Ukraine," it said.

The "Baykar" account also includes a photo of drone creator Selcuk Bayraktar with Lithuanian representatives in front of Bayraktar TB2.  -02B-
