Turkey's full-fledged air force command in Azerbaijan
Baku/06.12.22/Turan: F-16 combat aircraft of the Turkish Air Force are taking part in a joint Turkish-Azerbaijani exercises near the borders of Iran. This footage was published by the Turkish Ministry of Defence.
The entire Turkish Armed Forces command arrived in Azerbaijan to observe the exercise. Thus, along with Minister of Defense Hulusi Akar, Chief of General Staff Yashar Guler, Commander of Ground Forces Musa Avsever, Commander of Air Forces Atilla Gulan, Commander of Naval Forces Erciyment Tatlioglu and other military officers arrived.
During the talks between the Turkish delegation and the leadership of the Azerbaijani Ministry of Defense, the sides exchanged views on topical issues and discussed prospects for further development of bilateral cooperation in the military and military-technical fields as well as regional security issues.
In the course of the ongoing joint "Brotherhood Fist" exercise, the Azerbaijani and Turkish militaries carried out various tasks at night and in limited visibility conditions. At this stage, equipment and manpower of the simulated enemy were destroyed.
The command of the Turkish and Azerbaijani Armed Forces arrived in the region of the exercise to observe its progress. To remind, the exercises are held in the Astara, Imishli and Jabrail regions bordering Iran. -06В-

On November 15, animal rights activist Kamran Mammadli was detained while staging a protest at the COP29 climate conference. Mammadli was protesting the shooting of street dogs in Azerbaijan. He raised a sign above his head that read: "Azerbaijani authorities are shooting dogs on the streets!"
