Twenty-seven Patients with COVID-19 Infection in Azerbaijani Hospitals
Baku / 03.17.20 / Turan: Six new cases of the COVID-19 infection have been reported in Azerbaijan. This was reported by the Operational Headquarters under the Cabinet of Ministers.
The patients are under the supervision of doctors. They feel normal, and their health is assessed as stable.
Currently, 27 patients with the Corona Virus infection are under the supervision of doctors in specialized hospitals, the Operational Headquarters notes.
The Headquarters calls on citizens to comply with the requirements and recommendations of WHO and the Operational Headquarters under the Cabinet of Ministers, taking into account the global pandemic and the wide spread of the virus.
Recall that a total of 34 cases of the Corona Virus infection have been recorded. One of the patients died, and six people recovered. -06B-

Activist Nijat Ibrahim, who was detained in Baku pre-trial detention center-1, inflicted numerous wounds on himself on November 20 in protest against unjustified criminal prosecution, his wife Parvin Ibrahim told Turan. According to her, on November 21, her husband called her and informed her that the day before he had inflicted incised wounds on himself with a piece of mirror. In particular, he cut his throat and ears.
