Baku/01.03.22/Turan: 5,710 Russian servicemen have been killed and 200 taken prisoner during the five days of war in Ukraine.
This was reported on the morning of 1 March by the General Staff of the Ukrainian armed forces (UAF).
Also, 29 enemy aircraft, 29 helicopters, 198 tanks, 846 armoured combat vehicles, 77 artillery systems, 7 air defence systems, 24 multiple rocket launchers, 60 tanks with fuel and lubricants, 3 UAVs of operational-tactical level, 2 boats, 305 units of automotive equipment were destroyed and damaged.
The General Staff noted that the count was complicated by high intensity of combat operations.-06B-

On February 13, the Appeal Court did not satisfy the defense's appeal against the decision of the Khatai Court regarding the arrest of journalist Shahnaz Beylargizi. According to the lawyer, the journalist herself did not participate in the trial due to poor health. The defense intends to submit a petition to replace the arrest with house arrest.
