UN Security Council Calls for End to War and Start of Talks under Auspices of OSCE Minsk Group
Baku / 30.09.20 / Turan: The UN Security Council expressed its concern over reports of large-scale hostilities in the conflict zone in Nagorno-Karabakh. This was stated by the chairman of the UN Security Council Abdu Abarri following the discussion.
"The members of the Security Council strongly condemned the use of force and expressed regret over the loss of life," Abarri said.
The UN Security Council called on Armenia and Azerbaijan to immediately cease fire and start substantive negotiations without preconditions, and also expressed full support for the central role of the OSCE Minsk Group co-chairs. -02D-
